GSMA Device Check

Official GSMA Service Provider

The Type Allocation Code (TAC) is the first 8 digits of an International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) which is the unique 15 digit number allocated to all wireless devices. This is assigned by the GSMA to all the main manufacturers and will determine brand, model, region and spec. The remaining 7 digits will make up the unique reference number of that device.

The official Blacklist check is from a live database with instant reporting from over 100 global network operators in 40 countries sharing information about any devices that are reported lost, stolen or barred.

Device Network's B2B portal allows our members direct access to this database along with other IMEI digital services. ‘My Devices’ makes it easy for users to check batches of devices with customised built-in export reports. Register now, and as a welcome gift we’ll add 10 free credits to access this live check along with other online IMEI digital services.
